Let go of an amzing and beautiful girl that was head over heels in love with me. The problem was she didn't make me laugh and she saw the world wildly differently than me. At first i could look past it because i admired the person she was but it eventually wore me down. I know i made the right choice, but there is so much pain associated with losing this person who was a part of my life for so long. Can someone please tell me how to start to feel like myself again, and to lose this ache that never seems to go away

You can only wait to feel like human again.
Use this empty time to improve yourself.
Start eating healty, start some sport, read some book about broken love and you will feel better in no time.
Just do yourself a favor and dont try to fill up your hole in hearth by casual sex. It never works.

Sucks man, we all know what that feels like. The cures tend to be universal. You have to accept that time is what you need, time will allow your heart and soul to heal and become stronger. But while that is working...
Stick to a routine. Do your hobbies or interests. Eventually you think of them less, and the pain fades to nothing. Be careful you don't pick up a bad habit to fill the void.
