If you're just looking for a short hook-up, I would say go for it, but also seriously start working on your self control and why you act out the way you do.

I'm not one to jump head-first into Self Improvement stuff, but that doesn't mean you can't work on yourself at all. I just treat it like a habit I no longer want. Make a conscious effort to be aware of it, and when I notice it happening, stop myself mentally for a moment and figure out why I did it, then work on trying to put some better habit in it's place.

In the long run, that will help you out much more than looking for short term pleasures, and when you do get to the point that you want a more serious relationship, you will already have one less worry.
