It's good and it's perfectly feasible just as long as you understand that dating isn't the same as being exclusive, or in other words, being girlfriend and boyfriend. Dating is just a test period where you're trying to see who really gets you going.

I don't recommend bragging about it but if someone you're dating ever gets on your ass about it just ask them if they want to become exclusive. Should shut them up pretty nicely.

Make your intentions clear. "I want to date but am not looking for anything serious". Don't lie to anyone and you'll be good, whether you're male or female. If they get hurt, it's their own fault -- as long as you don't lie. Do. Not. Lie.
