but it's 150£ more expensive
and intel build is better for gaming right ?

Look at the reviews for the CPU you want and go by that.

In my experience AMD cause house fires and are usually overclocked to shit from the factory

AMD is cheaper, Intel has better benchmarks.

8 core is curently useless for gaming. intel may be pricey, but its worth it. quad core is where its at
