I'm just stating a fact. I've had my IQ officially tested. I scored 131. 130 is considered genius on the WAIS scale.

Good for you, pseudo genius. You might not want to tell your AF buddies your IQ or you will be bullied for the arrogance you clearly have to think that IQ actually means anything in the real world, especially the military.

Expect to do no combat, a weak ass basic training, but if you picked a good job you'll probably enjoy it. But a genius like yourself might find that grunt work isn't intellectually stimulating enough.

Chair Force is probably even less likely to get you killed than Coast Guard, because you won't be fighting against the Mexican Cartel Navy or anyone at all for that matter.

If your entire goal is to die, join the Marines. If your goal is to get a free piece of paper entitling you to apply to be a public schoolteacher (bachelors degree) then being an airman is the cozy way.

Spoiler alert: you will never be a pilot.

If I ace the ASVAB, along with my college credits, where would I stand? I want to do something interesting, along the lines of writing, politics, PR, and speech writing.

If you ace the ASVAB technically you're eligible for every job but realistically you won't become a pilot because it's so competitive among some other jobs, mostly aircrew related.

You could look into military photography if you're interested in PR and politics. Yeah it's not the most relevant career but then again in the military there isn't much an enlisted soldier can do that is related to that. You'd be better off trying to become an officer if you're interested in politics.

Doesn't mean shit. You're going to get in and be surrounded by stupid people, and you WILL hate your life. And this isn't a matter of oh I can simply quit if I feel like it, no, you're stuck for four years minimum. You will be coddled to an extreme, it's insulting. Do not join the Air Force.

All recruiters lie about everything.

Nothing they promise you is binding. Nothing they give you as a contract and sign is binding.

Once you enlist they own your ass and can do anything they want with you.

That doesn't necessarily mean you're screwed. They may decide that it meets their needs best to give you what they promised. But it won't be because they promised.
