I have my group of friends, we used to spend a lot of time together. We would play soccer, go hang round at night, eat and drink something, sometimes we would throw parties at our own houses. But now they are going to a club that I don't like evey friday, and don't have time for hanging around with me any other day. So the oly thing I can do is go clubbing with them, but I really dislike this fucking place, so I refuse to go. Instead I stay at home, alone, which I don't really like neither. I am afraid I might lose my friends for refusing to go with them. I don't know what can I do so I don't grow apart from them. Any suggestions?
As people mature their intrests change. Find some new friends who enjoy the things you enjoy.
You will only hurt your relationship with your current friends if you have to force yourself to hang out with them doing something you dislike. Its better to only see them from time to time than to slowly destroy your friendship.

I was thinking the same, but I am afraid that I could not find other friends who actually like to do the same things as me. I guess I'll have to try anyways

There are always people who are interested in the same things as you. It's just a matter of finding them.
What do you like? You said you would play soccer so whats stopping you from finding some random soccer team and joining in with them?

I don't really like playing soccer anyways, I just played soccer because 1. My friends like to play 2. I had to do some exercise
I like soccer, but only when it's on my TV screen. Not when I actually have to play. Same thing goes for clubbing, these guys will go to clubs with average commercial music, while I like rock. They don't want to go to rock clubs though. But I thought that I'd have to adapt to the things they liked because I wouldn't find someone who liked the same things I did.

>Friends don't do what I enjoy
So find new friends that do. That needn't mean dropping the old ones, just doing some fun things with them and other fun things with others.

Dude you're not the only person in the world who likes rock.

Why not meet them halfway? Commercial clubs are terrible but techno/house clubs have great music and interesting people. If your friends like clubbing then they would prob be up for it if you suggest it.
I'm just jealous that you have a group of friends. I have individual friends I meet sometimes but no gang of us to hang out and do activities continously
