Looks like a bedbug to me. Strip all of your bedding and clothing and head to your nearest laundromat. Wash everything and dry them on the hottest setting possible. Meanwhile, set off a bug bomb in your apt or house. Good luck Anon. Bedbugs are nasty shit buggers that are hard to get rid of.

100% bed bug. I'm betting there was a certain odor when you squished it, too. The red liquid was blood. Specifically, YOUR blood. That is an adult, which means it hitchhiked, or grew to that size.
First things first, take your sheet, blanket, pillow, pillow cases, and anything else like it that is on your bed, put it into a trash bag, and take it to be washed. Wash it and dry it on the highest setting. If you have a lot, run it through the dryer twice.
Next, check the creases and edges of your bed and box spring. They like small cramped places near their food, re: you, and the folds on the end of your bed are a favorite. Look for red specs of dirt, skin sheddings, other bugs, and eggs, which looks like small rice. If you see any of this, especially eggs, you might want to toss it, but you can also get a cover. Just make sure that its a bed bug one that's good.
If you're in an apartment, tell your land lord asap. Most apartments require you yo inform t 'em as part of your lease. They'll call an exterminator, and you'll follow their instructions, which usually involves moving all your shit away from walls and bagging it.
That's just the start. They can be a real pain. I'm sorry.
