How do you cope with this. I see the object of my affections every single day, usually with her boyfriend. Don't have the guts to become an hero or I would have done that long ago.

Its not the rejection that depresses me, but the fact that the person I idealised and loved more than anything became a selfish and abusive mental case with no future. The fact that I'm in love with her sure doesn't help though
