Help me out here.
A few minutes ago I started coughing and it was really raspy and painful. Ended with some pain on the back of my head, bottom left. Probably unrelated. I spat and there was a little blood in it. I spit out a few more times, about three or four and the blood stopped. Very small amounts. Any idea what I have? My throats still hurts a bit.

go to a doctor. it could be anything from super duper lung cancer, to just a scratch in your gums.

you should get it checked out. coughing up blood can be a lot of things. you might have had a bloody nose, a bad cold or tuberculosis.

I cough up and vomit small amounts of blood all of the time, you're probably fine. Or not... Go see a doctor. However I'm warning you, a brain and chest MRI can be upwards of $5000 with insurance.

If it's a tiny amount, you don't smoke, and it doesn't happen again I wouldn't worry about paying the doctor fee. Liable to be just dry sinuses that ripped open with the coughing and dripped blood into your mucus.
if it happens again go to a doctor immediately.
