Basically me and my friends are arguing whether a toasted sandwich is a sandwich. We can't finalise a decision so we need your opinions.
As retarded as it sounds I believe that a toasted sandwich is a sandwich but my other friends think otherwise.

Toasted sandwich is not a sandwich:
a sandwich is made with two pieces of bread, when you use toast to make your sandwich it becomes a toasted sandwich, theres a difference.

Wet is just an adjective here. Its still a towel.
So why would it be any different for a sandwich being toasted?

a circle is a circle. if you colored that circle red it is still a circle. if you have chicken but you burnt it do you still call it chicken? yes. Just because it has another characteristic or adjective added to it does not change it unless you remove part of the criteria that makes it what it is. Like if the circle was open on part of it or if the chicken was really duck.
