Currently a manager at McDonald's with promised promotion at beginning of next year.
5 k payrise.
Is bullshit of job worth staying or go for similar job without garunteed promotion just for less stress/more social hours?
Isn't a manager at mc donalds pretty much a grunt but with even more responsabilities and expected to come work at ungodly hours if the need arise
Do you see yourself doing this for another couple of years ? If so go for it
But do you have serious plans of something else or are you just now considering it ?
Pretty much, there are considerably more things to do, more pressure, but still expected to do the work of a crew member for not much more money at that!
I regularly get called in on days off to deal with issues others can't or have to answer the phone at 5 am on days off to help.
I really do love my job and want to progress to bm wich I believe is possible for me but at the same time the pressure of it makes me look else were on a regular basis.
Why not stay and keep looking for other jobs on the side...?

what do you get paid if you don't mind me asking (and what were you paid as just a regular worker)
what is bm and what do you need to do to get to it?
That's what I have been doing, I've applied at spoons, tesco and aldi at same role but similar pay and no garuntee of promotion,
I'm on 21k pa as a shift manager was on 18k
Next promotion to 2nd assistant at 25k two more promotions to get buisness manager wich is 35k+ should take 5 years of I'm lucky and carry o progressing at current rate.

I'm not sure what you're expecting if all you have to offer is work experience at McDonalds
