Isnt it kinda weird when I never talked to her before and then suddenly come one day like "Hey whats up, how are you doing" or asking something lesson-related, when there are a lot of other people I could also ask and know better?
So, what would be the best way to approach her?

Only when you're self conscious like some faggot in middle school. If you're hitting on her you're hitting on her. There's no need to come up with detailed plans. She's just another girl, don't put her on a pedestal.
If you want to talk to her you talk to her. Preferably not about something boring like what just happened in class. Pull out something YOU want to do and ask her about it.
