Who gives a fuck, uni is a waste of time.
>>
If you have the money and they'll let you in, no.

Try and nail as many co-eds as possible, at that point it's basically jailbait but without the prison time.
>>
Yup, better give up now Anon.
>>
One of my profs started at 40
She was totally cool, we used to smoke and bounce ideas after class
>>
>>18117982
That's true, OP this is a perfect window of oppurtunity for you.
>>
>>18117980
Depends on what you want to go to university for, some career paths require you to be young for the hiring potential or field experience required for employment opportunities, others you could graduate at 50 and nothing would change.

This is not a /his/ thread.
>>
>>18117980
No, I know 40 and 50 year olds that are in my class
>>
if you want go for history you'd be better self-studying desu
>>
>>18117984

Did you bounce on her dentures?
>>
>>18117980

No. I had a 34 and 36 year old women in my class. One gave really good advice and helped me very much in life, the other was a dumb trophy wife, who attended just to not be a neet.
>>
>>18117980

No. No age is too old.

Hell, 26 isn't even really too old for "the college experience."
>>
>>18117980
I started at 26/27 graduated 30/31. Went full time and worked evenings and weekends. Better for me since I was more irresponsible when 17/18.

Given my life experiences so far I was like a big brother, shelling advice that was warranted and legitimate, not dumbass shit. If I didn't know, I'd point them to a professor who'd I know would help them out and could trust.

If you have the opportunity and time, go for it. Harder to do later on if you're being sucked into other commitments
>>
Like the other anons said, there are many people who are older than you and go to uni, so do it if you can. It's never too late to learn.
I think you might actually have an advantage over younger students, because you are admittedly more mature and have a clearer idea of what you wanna to do with your life.
>>
>>18118047
>wanna to do
Oh fuck why I can't post anything without making a stupid mistake.
>>
>>18117980
Just do it. I'm in exactly the same situation and I'm also gonna go for it!
>>
It doesn't matter, people who are 30-40 and obsessed with their own age don't seem to be able to cope though. There's usually one or two people 70+ who just want to study history or something.

It's not a waste of time but have a plan. If you're going to pay the US rip off fees you should at least know why you're doing that vs. studying in other places.
>>
>>18117980
I had a 58 year old class mate.

No, it is not too late. When you are, say, 30, you will have a degree while people who are 26 now and wont go to Uni will not. You might feel a bit out of place when you start, with all those young guys and girls straight out of HS. Just Forget about it, tell yourself that you are improving your life and that is what matters. You canĀ“t change the past, but at least you are doing it now. Most of the people never go to Uni. Also, when you are 30, no one will care if you got your degree at 21, 24, or 29. You and other 30yo will have a degree thats it. Your future self will thank you for making the effort. Best wishes ;)

26 is the perfect age for starting university. Treating it as the thirteenth grade is one of the many crimes against humanity committed by baby boomers.

By high school, kids all over the world have fully adapted to the fact that public schooling is little more than a job they don't get paid for, they're forced to perform daily, and they get no individual say of their in which one they attend. People should experience the real world, not just school school school until their life is a third over.

People come out of these schools not knowing a single damn thing about the real world, but assuming they know everything. These types are funneled into government work where they spend the rest of their functional lives making things difficult for people with real jobs.
