Last night, I slipped and fell flat on my back. Now my back and neck hurt. I can still walk and shit, but the pain is probably a 6.5/10. I normally have lower back pain, but now I am experiencing it in my upper back and neck as well. Should I go see a doctor? Should I call out sick from my job and get some rest, or tough it like a warrior?

My shoulder hurts a little too, but not in a burning or tingling way. My butt is a little sore, but no burning or tingling. Hamstrings feel fine.

Can you afford medical bills right now because they will probably run expensive scans on you to make sure you haven't fractured anything and to possibly looked for a bulging disc. It will be a just in case thing.
That isn't to say that you didn't slip a disc or fracture something and the symptoms might show up later. They will probably check you out for worst case scenario and give you a script for 800mg ibuprofen.
If I were you I would just take it easy for a week and see how you feel then but it is your body.

I'm on Obeezycare. Don't know what all would be covered though. I think I'll wait a few days before going to the doctor. Might work a short shift tonight, but I'm off tomorrow, so I'll take it easy then. Thanks for your input.
