I'm a college student, I've been to house parties etc. but clubbing is a first, are there any proper ediqutte, ways to talk to people/women at said events, and/or general way of acting I should be

The clothing depends on the club.

Just wear nice shoes, nice jeans, and a nice long sleeve shirt (with no crazy decorations on it) and you'll be set.
