I haven't had Lasik but I've had PRK. It's pretty cool. Sometimes I wake up with excruciating eye pain though. I think Lasik is actually supposed to be better in that regard.

My eyes get dry now. That's the only real downside. I'm sure the fact that I'm on the computer 12+ hours a day has something to do with it. I don't know if they're not getting lubricated properly now or if my glasses were blocking some blue light out or something. The result is that sometimes my eyes hurt very bad when I first wake up, as if they're full of sand. Other than that I'm very happy with the procedure. What bad things have you read?

Sucks to be those people. Again I had PRK done and went to a very reputable clinic, not one of those places offering the procedure for $400 an eye.
Expensive but worth. Expect to not be able to see shit for a day or two post surgery
