You definitely should. I'm a big sperg and I joined Beta Alpha Psi (accounting honors society) this semester and I don't regret it.

I was really worried that I'd go /r9k/ at all the networking events. And I did initially. Practice makes perfect and now I feel more of a normie...For fucking once I have friends, a professional network, and a bunch of job interviews lined up.

I wish I've done it sooner.

If you want to feel like an normie. There are charity things you need to do. College festivity things you need to do like build a soapbox car or something. Mixers and Parties. Something to put on the resume at the very least.

My group at college was very close, and one kid went and joined our frat. We always made fun of him. "Oh, you're off to see your real friends, cool cya".

Yes, Phi Beta Kappa is worth it.
