I've been catching up with my studies and shit, yeah. But I need something fun to pick up besides video games, fun's kind of been sucked out of them at this point, to be honest.
dedicate yourself to improving your marketable skills and get out of that shit hole

I recently picked up cubing (solving different kinds of rubix cubes). I've solved 3x3, 5x5, so far, and have like 7 more on my bucket list for learning how to solve. It's been a fun hobby so far, and not too difficult to pick up

Eh, I'm already on that, I obviously aim higher in life than this town. I'll be off studying in a nearby city by September next year. Just feels like there's nothing to do entertainment wise, especially during the shit weather months.

Something mentally stimulating and relaxing I could do with a podcast in the background. Not a bad suggestion.
Set up an aquarium and grow aquatic plants with a shrimp colony. Interesting, rewarding and potentially lucrative. Plus look at these cute little bastards.

This sounds fun and will impress both peers and employers, also very unique. You should look into this, m8.
do a art OP.
Take up whittling or something. I have a friend who has an art gallery and I whittled a mask and she let me put it in a show. I actually sold it and made myself a cool $25 and I had fun doing it with no cost other than time.
