I had a pain like a bruise on the left side of my belly button for two weeks. So I went to the doctor, but when I went I ended up not feeling it. I have anxiety as well so I thought hey maybe it's just me. The doctor basically was like "oh ok well if you have no symptoms I can't help you". Now it's been a total of four weeks since I first woke up with it and I definitely still have it but it's more general around my abdomen. I can feel it when I walk, it's not like pain but the soreness after someone punches you and the area is healing.
I don't know if I should go back or find another doctor, or if this is just some inexplicable trapped gas or some other thing to ignore.
I would have gone this week but I had a very bad respiratory infection. I'm scared and just wanna be able to drink and live again without worry. I wish someone could just give me an ultrasound or something and look inside. Pls help /adv/

You're freaking out over minor pain you barely know is there? Get a grip. It's nothing to worry about unless it gets significantly worse.
I've been having abdominal pain for a year and for the past week it's possibly going away. You should check with another doctor, because that is out of the ordinary.

It definitely sounds anxiety related

maybe its gas/constipation. take some fiber and see if it persists.

Could be acid reflux. Try some over the counter antacid or zantac.

I'm freaking out because I have a very shitty diet and drink and I have a pain where a bunch of important stuff is and it's not going away.

I take a fiber supplement regularly. I thought that it was this so I stopped taking it during the first two weeks but nothing really changed.

What was it? Any advice?
