I live in central Canada, and I've been talking to this girl I went to high school with who lives in Edmonton, which is like halfway between where I live (our home town) and the west coast (B.C.). Over the past year we've gotten pretty close just talking via social media. We actually never talked in school at all. Anyways, since the last time she came home to visit we've been talking about me going out her way to visit her sometome. I told her I've always wanted to drive out to the west coast and that maybe this summer I'd do that and that I'd stop by and see her. Anyways, do you think I should just invite her and pick her up and go to the coast together? The thing is that I really like her. I'd totally date her if she didn't live so damn far away. Would I be beating myself up by teasing the idea of us being together by taking this trip with her? Or should I just stop by, spend the night, maybe we go out for drinks, and continue on to the coast by myself? It just sounds so dumb, going by myself. It's like an 18 hour drive one way. Then again she's always told me how much she loves B.C. Idk this might strengthen our already existing friendship and possibly pave the way for something in the future. What do?
JUST DO IT!
