Has anyone here had success in becoming a primary school teacher (grades k-6)
The idea has always kind of interested me, here in Australia high school kids are a bit obnoxious and I can't really be bothered to deal with them. I like the age range too but not pedo I just think little kids are funny and I like the way they live their lives. I also want kids to get interested in things, I still remember and respect some of the good teachers that I had that were fun and made me interested in learning, I want to be like that.
I'm not too fussed about the pay which I assume isn't great.

I know what you mean. I've worked as a summer camp counselor in the past for 2nd and 3rd graders and they're hilarious. There's always those few kids who are more mature than the others and they're usually the cool ones.
>tfw was talking about Run DMC with a 3rd grader
was surprised he was allowed to listen to it.
also
>see autist kid spergging out over a bee flying in his face
>see it and tell a counselor-in-training to go and help him
>as I'm talking to the CIT I see the kid pick up a can of bug spray from his bag in a panic
>he's holding it the wrong way
>ohfuck.jpg JOSH WAIT
>sprays it directly into his eyeballs
>starts flailing
>carry him to the nurse
Felt bad for him but it was pretty funny watching it unfold in slow motion desu
