You are not working through your emotions. Let the memories come in and consider possibilities other than malice and incompetence of others. Write your thoughts down, don't let them brew indeterminately in your head.

Think how ultimately it's an employer's responsibility for picking a lousy employee, and not whipping him into shape. Similarly, you are responsible for all the trust and expectations you put in people. When you feel burned, it's your brain telling you your code of conduct needs adjustment.

That's the only way to move on quickly. Otherwise it'll go away with time or with meeting someone else but forgiving is the quickest way if you're honest with yourself and not just pretending. Trust me you'll feel way better after that. Get on something like MDMA and think about it if you need to, I know it has helped for some people I know.

If I could go back I would have said fuck it earlier, spent more time working, hanging with buddies, chilling, and most importantly either getting some new ass or dating a new girl in general. They come and go playboy. Nothing exists forever, enjoy it while it's good and when it gets bad let it go.
