I'm autistic and feel pretty similar. Even though I know society would be better off with me dead, it keeps allowing me to have ways to survive. If you still have things you enjoy doing and are able to live, then just keep doing that.

It's one of the best books I've ever read. Not sure what else to say except check it out if you like literature at all. I don't think it is exactly easy to read...but its length is one reason why I love it so much. One of my favorite characters has consumption and he is basically doomed to die and knows it, but ends up making quite a statement.
