>President of engineering club
>About 7k in debt
>Bought a trailer to live out of while in school
>Payments are 106 a month (rent in city where I live is roughly 500 to share a bedroom)
>still have another 4-5 years
>Catalytic converter went out on truck
>Can't smog truck
>Can't tow trailer without truck

I started at the bottom of math (in calculus now and most gen ed classes are done) - and still have about 4 or 5 years in school til I get my BS for engineering

How much student debt is the average "independent and on their own" student collecting per year?

Engineering is a high unit major as it is, but I started at the bottom of math. My counselor said I could transfer in 2 years to uni. It's just an estimate

But the main thing is that I'm president of a pretty big club that's doing a competition with NASA - I am emphasizing leadership and management. It might take me a year or two longer but I already will have a few years of experience
