OP may not be totally saying it right, and his expectations seem to be a little high, but I get where he's coming from. If you're not attracted to someone, it creates a major burden on a relationship, and it's not really fair for people to say "just get her to work out with you," because not only does that immediately imply you think they're out of shape, but then you have to babysit them and be aware that they're not actually doing this because they care about their lifestyle, just because the pressure is on.

My ex was in alright shape, but wouldn't ever dress up attractively, stopped going to yoga after we met, and started just constantly munching down on food all day long. She was a kind person and all, and not unpleasant to be around, but I wasn't attracted to her at the end of the day, and there really needs to be SOME physical spark, at least early on in the relationship.

/adv/ is probably right in general here that he should dump her, but not because he's an awful person for feeling this way, IMO.
