If you don't drain your money into debt and don't spend lots of money on things that very temporarily make you happy, time will fly and your savings will just build.

yeah thats one thing i have going for me, i have no debt and about 2k in savings which i managed to save from previous good paying job (spent other money on car and computer) not touching that money, Just need to find motivation or something right? finding it hard as i want to be social with friends and save money at the same time and its hard

You're not going to be able to get through life on that pay and that number of hours

This job is only temporary while i get back on my feet, was let go mid last year due to cut backs in medical in my country.
I'm a biomedical technician by trade but with little experience out of apprenticeship (just over 8 months) its hard to to get people to notice you :(
