Trying to lose some weight, started to cut down on the amount I eat and eat better in general. I had some chicken for lunch and im still hungry but I don't want to eat because ill just keep going. How do I keep the motivation to not just eat and be satisfied with smaller amounts? Like right now I just want to go out or order something in and its killing me.

first and foremost keep celery around wherever you are. in the fridge at work, at home, buy a couple stlaks for a friends house. that way when you're hungry you can say 'i need to eat celery'.
and if you dont eat it, well you're not really hungry you're just craving.
write down a reminder that the hunger you feel is what it feels like to lose weight.
and when you really are just hungry celery or greenbeans only. even a pound of greenbeans is like 140 calories. you would get full off a full pound of greenbeans trust me.

If you're eating smaller meals, it's fine to add light snacks between meals. Eat fruit or veggie or something like that between meals if you feel like it. Letting yourself go hungry is the worst thing to do, because it will increase the likelyhood that you give into urges and also over eat during meals.
