Here's a story for everyone that is only one of many times hope has literally walked out of my life.

>still haven't decided whether I'm going to go or not

>keep telling me to just ask any girl to be my date
>I'm tired of them bothering me about it

>I have two people I'd consider asking

>one is a good friend of mine
>both girls are friends with each other
>ask my friend about the girl who goes to a different school is she has a date
>"I haven't talked to her in a long time"

>tried to get in contact with her
>this girl works at a Starbucks near me
>talked to before when ordering something
>knee her for a little while
>went to her work

>no want to get into contact with her

>girl I'm friends with has a class with me
>sit next to her everyday

>the day I was going to ask her after class if she has a date

>a friend of mine comes in with roses, springrolls (one of her favorite foods) and mixed fruit

Lol I planned a lot more than what he had in store. Funny thing she was allergic to everything he brought her (which I knew, mainly a few ingredients but still rendered the effort nearly meaningless). I'm also not complaining or upset about the situation anyone, anyone would be in the moment but this is just a look back at what happened.

I know prom is meaningless it's just everyone during this time kept talking about it and it got annoying. For the most part I don't give in to this herd mentality but I decided " Hey it's not going to happen again why not try". And again I don't really care about it now, just during the moment
