4chan has changed, where do people who have a grasp on the world, but are not teenagers hang out? IT forums?

you're not going to believe me
but /pol/
problem is
you're in a jungle of shitposting and the grown up threads are hidden in a sea of filth
there's also 3x3 threads on /a/
/m/ is full of old dudes
/jp/ full of oldfags but not necessarily old people

you're not gonna find what you specifically are looking for
if it existed it would already be known
what you are basically asking for is 4chan in the 2001-2005 era
sorry bud that ship as sailed

Are you looking for a forum that's as busy as 4chan?
If so, you're probably looking at like, Reddit. If not, I post on a message board with a pretty adult userbase that has their shit together. It's a little slow right now, and has been together for 15 years, so there can be a barrier to entry, but I could point it out to you, to see if you're interested.

/m/ is full of idiots who think simplistic, hammy political drama is deep. Fuck zeta

seems cool. What is that place about?
>>18087827
No topic, really. It's on IGN, a videogame board, but it's really just about whatever's going on in life for the people that post there. Mostly mature people who average between 27-33.
