Enjoy your debt slavery.
>Study first, party later
This doesn't mean you can't party, this means do your assignments the day they're due. Study every day, 30-45 minutes per class, per day (so you're taking 5 classes, study for 2.5 hrs-3 hrs per day).
>Take advantage of your universities tutoring programs, and your professors office hours
even freshman year, don't expect to know everything. Classes start out really easy, and then take a HUGE leap into complicated stuff. Expect to not understand things. Then use the resources available to help you out. There are certain topics in school that you can't just sit there and read over and over again and drill into yourself, you need to get individual help sometimes
>cut toxic people out of your life
I'm not talking about people that party, I'm talking about the people who start drinking before their 8am, and don't stop till 4am, every single day. These people won't last a year, and if you follow them, they'll ruin you.
Stick to people who have their priorities straight, and also party.
The library is very underrated and under utilized. Use it. It's infinitely better than studying in your dorm. I have two computers, a desktop for gaming, and a laptop for school. I do all my school stuff on the laptop in the library. If I was home, I'd be on my desktop playing DS3 or some shit

Yes. 1. Download my fitness app and track what you eat and drink. 90 percent of first year college students put on between 15 to 20 pounds. Alcohol has a fucking ton of calories and having some beers and fries will give you a nasty gut within a year.
2. Look up what books your classes will use. Look them up way before the class starts so you can find the books used and get them for pennies on the dollar. Also, as soon as you get them, read as far into the book as you can.
3. Aim way higher than a class requires. You don't want to look like an idiot on your transcripts. Take maybe 4 classes and knock them all out of the park.
