If you have an average face there is nothing wrong and you shouldn't even be bothered. Not everyone is born with a godlike face and a lot of people have it worse than you. Just work with what you have, lift a bit (if that is what makes you more confident) find what you're passionate about and you'll feel much more satisfied.

Your face is going to change a lot as you age and will look radically different depending on how much body fat you have. If I look back at myself in my teens I look like a fat puffy woman, in my early 20's a fat puffy older woman, in my mid 20's when I actually started to build some muscle and gain some definition I started to look in my opinion quite handsome. By my late 20's I've never been happier with how I look, I don't think I was destined to be young and hot, I think that I was always going to grow into my facial features as I've got quite a large aquiline nose combined with the bruce campbell chin. I had to lean out somewhat and develop some cheekbones to match.
