Here's an anecdote, my 85 year old grandmother in the old country is healthy as an ox and can still do farm chores, and she has never had a single prescription in her life.

I am not saying you should trust the drug companies at all.

It's just that all people are different. Your grandmother might have had great genetics and lived a healthy life while your grandfather wasn't that lucky.

You can't just come to a conclusion from your own family and project that to a random person that you even don't know.

I am an anesthesiology and reanimation resident and I probably have seen close to 250 ICU patients in my 2.5 years.

I have both treated people who are 30 years old and had to receive haemodialysis 3 times a week for the past 10 years and die because of infections and 90+ year old post-op patients with multiple organ dysfunctions but get extubated in no time and leave the ICU the next day.

People differ too much to effectively make an assumption that could cover them all.

First of all, SSRI s can cause permanent sexual dysfunction of various degrees, you MAY have that but my opinion is that 6-8 months of not taking the drugs is too early to only blame the pills.

Other that that only advice i can give other then the guy before is this.

I am talking from experience: Catabolism can seriously hurt your libido and sexual performance. Don't expect your dick to operate %100 while your body is in cataqbolism for the previous 6 months. Same shit happened to me while ı lost 25 pounds over 5 months. It was not to the point that i wasn't able to get erected but there was literally a %50 decrease in my libido and spontaneous erections.

I am not saying that this is the root of your problems but the metabolic stress you are putting on yourself may be aggravating your underlying condition.

After talking to the therapist, he said that I'm not in the present moment during these encounters, which is true. Pretty much all of these experiences are a blur to me, I'm so fucking worried about performing, and the potential embarrassment that could follow if I don't.
