how old are you guys? has she spent time with a little kid? I'm a mom of two and pregnant with my third and I can tell you kids are almost always happy and funny and goofing off. kids will make your life fuller and bring a love that is different from anything else you will ever know. adoption is wonderful to but as a female I can tell you that feeling your child grow inside you and bring it into the world is an amazing experience. as long as you do right by any children you do make and provide for them, raise them to be good, kind, and intelligent people then you have made the world a better place not a worse one.

I personally wouldn't want to bring a child into the world right now knowing that as they hit adulthood there will be coastal flooding and inland flight, especially factoring in the current trend of reduced wages and benefits will either continue or result in violent revolution, neither of which makes for a particularly enjoyable life.
