I have bad mood swings, where i can be really happy even though every is going to shit, yet an hour later can be absolutely miserable. They are often random, but can be triggered when bad stuff happens. I am really scared I'm bipolar and am hoping this is just a thing i can learn to control or can get past. Does anyone have any experience with this type of thing or know how I can get past it? It's really hard to deal with as just when things are going well or I seem to have things on track I always get all fucked up.

bipolar is classified more by very severe extended periods of mania/depression over several days/weeks, rather than swings throughout the day
i'd say its just hormones but if it gets in the way of every day life you should tell a doctor
