>live in a rural state, commuting to work by car is a necessity
>divorced parents
>dad won't teach me to drive because he's poor as fuck
>mom won't teach me to drive because "I'm a shitty driver, go ask your grandpa to do it"
>grandpa (who's my last living grandparent) tells me to go take a driving course
>driving courses in my state do not reward a license, only a certificate that gives you a modest discount on insurance
>finally managed to get a job and was forced to hitch rides from friends
>bought a very cheap car off craigslist to teach myself how to drive
>mother forces me to give the car to my half-brother because he claims his car doesn't work
>he gets drunk and totals my car in under a month
>but his car works fine enough for him to show up to tell me he totaled my car
>I wasn't able to get my license before this happened
>my mom thinks I'm in the wrong for being incredibly pissed about this
>they refuse to get me a car to replace it
>friends won't let me hitch rides anymore
>this leaves me jobless, penniless, carless, licenseless, and stuck living with family for the foreseeable future
>I'm nearly thirty fucking years old
How the hell do you normalfags get a fucking driver's license? It's goddamn impossible.
