Invest in someone, or something, even if it seems trivial. If you can't find that, then the rest is discipline: keep making the attempt at whatever it is your goal is. If you don't have a goal, make one. If you don't like goals, at least make a real attempt at announcing some intent at least to yourself.

If all else fails either learn to accept the consequences of being lazy and mitigate them.
