How can I make my life nice and worthwhile without a relationship?

I do pretty good academically but no matter what work I will do, I know that at some point it will feel meaningless.
I also really enjoy fantasies and they almost always felt better than being with actual men- no idea how long it will last though.

it's how I get my sense of purpose and belonging.
then again, I have no idea what your field is so I can't say more. I'm also the type of person that's equally happy alone.

My field could be desribed as regional studies (Russia and Caucasus) so I cannot really "create" anything there, apart from scientific papers and articles.

You know, I think at any point we can come to the realization that something is pointless. I mean, it's an attitude. It's logic. Everything is.
It depends on what you personally find worthwhile. What I find worthwhile are memories. Sure, there are achievements, but really more than anything, fun memories made being alive worthwhile.
It's finding a way to live, I guess.
