How do I improve my feeling of self-worth?

Do things that make you proud of yourself and become good at a few things. Have principles you can stand behind and stick to them. Be fair to yourself and to others. Write a list what an ideal you would be like and then aspire to become that person. Don't dwell over things you can't influence and focus your personal development on what you can change.
The easiest way to build self-worth and self-esteem is to be someone you can be proud of.

I am good at learning and problem solving, but people don't find that particularly interesting.

It doesn't matter what people think. The whole point of self-esteem is that it comes from within and your own personal satisfaction at what you do and who you are. Sure, getting validation from other people is nice, but your sense of self-worth should not be tied to them, because despite how well those people know you, you still only exist as a caricature of yourself in there minds. You are the only person who knows yourself throughout, so you alone know what your worth and strengths are. If you are good at problem solving, then own it. Be proud of it and be proud of what you can accomplish with it. Other people may not (and will not) notice, so for building self-esteem, it's necessary that you acknowledge your successes.

not op, but just wanted to point out that this is one of those things that we often think we know all too well but end up forgetting 99% of the time. Sometimes all you need is someone to remind you of how things really are and really try to get that damn notion deep within your mind.

Increase your self worth, literally.
>>18054599
self worth comes from acknowledging whats good (and no, 'good' does not mean what you are PERFECT at or the BEST at, iut just means what you're good at, regardless of where others stand on it) and fixing whats not so good.
what are you good at? what would you like to improve?
money
bitches
power
Were you expecting the answer to be something different? Throwing your money away at ungrateful people and obeying their commands while they blame you for everything? You're not going to feel much self-worth if your life is nothing but your donation to other people's worth.

Be someone worthy of your own respect.
