How do I increase my cognitive ability? I want to become good at maths(algebra and geometry) but i noticed that the reason I get stuck is because I cannot grasp the necessary steps needed to find the solution.

So what can i do besides endlessly do problems over and over like a jobber?

the key to math and most other things is doing it over and over again, theres really no trick, its just training your brain.

Shut out human society from your life

There is a very good chance that the fault is not yours, but your teachers'.

Let's say you were taught to do algebra a particular way and, for whatever reason, you didn't get it. And let's say that well-meaning teachers and friends tried to help you by teaching you again.

But almost certainly they taught it the same way it was taught the first time, and if you didn't get it that way once, it is unlikely that you'd get it that way a second time.

By the third or fourth time, your brain feels failure coming and shuts down even before the teaching begins.

What you need is someone or some book that teaches math an entirely different way, one that your brain hasn't built defences against. Just keep looking for that.

So, its like i'm trying to climb a mountain but I don't have the equipment for the hiking trail everyone else uses, so i have to find a new one?

No, it's like trying again and again to get through the same locked door isn't going to get you any closer to opening it, and you might try looking for a different exit.
>>
there is a gene for being good at math. you don't have it. In 20 years this could be changed with CRISPR
>>
>Maths

Sounds fucking stupid and is more difficult to say than "Math"
