But it's semi related to illness and I didn't think it was worth a whole other thread

As for OP call someone, grab a bucket and blankie and head over to urgent care. If the wait is too long, go to ER if it's really bad. If you gotta make it through the night, get some rolaids/tums for nausea, take 200mg for pain, and 325mg Tylenol if needed until you can see someone. Take aspirin if you think it's heart related, idk what your medical history is. If you vomit, you vomit. Not the end of the world.

My question is super quick:
Say I had a tooth infection. I have a couple days left of an antibiotic (Cefdinir) that I used for an Ear infection (don't ask why I didn't finish it). Could the antibiotic for the ear help the tooth infection? At least until I can see someone about it? Is there a difference between bacteria for antibiotics?
