I'm 20, I use the internet (gaming and imageboards, porn, etc.) all day. I've dropped out three times now (college).
Parents are cutting my internet tomorrow and buying me a security guard course in a few days.
What do I do to make my life better? I have nothing going for me, I'm obese and friendless (which I don't mind but it gets boring). What do I do all day? I have an old e-book reader with Dostoevsky on it. I have a guitar. My clothes are tattered and were poor but I can manage to go to the public library, my sleep schedule is out of whack though.
Any help appreciated.
How long is the course? Assuming you're not working throughout the course get a job. Go for a run every morning. Learn guitar, write a book, learn to draw, plant a garden, ride a bike, take photos of stuff, play any sport, try tennis, golf, ones that don't require a lot of people and get parents or siblings to go with you, buy a motorbike, learn a language, record movies of your mum in the shower, there's a lot of stuff out there that isn't video games and internet.

Plan your day. Be active. Set a sleep schedule. Time to stop letting internet addiction drive you towards a meaningless life.
Sample plan:
8am:wake up no matter what
8:02:make bed
8:05: restroom-pee, brush teeth, shower
8:30: put on clothes
8:40: make and eat breakfast
9:15: go to library and check out book about something you are legit interested in.either walk or bike there or take the bus
11:clean up room or clean the kitchen-doing the dishes and a quick sweep counts
1:watch only an hour of television or read
3:look up job you would rather have and find requirements
4:walk around neighborhood and have lunch
5:find exercise that is right for you
You get the picture. I just made shit up but you have to find what is right for you and plan and follow through. It's ok if you don't nail every task or don't even get thru a majority but at least try. Each day you'll get better. Eat healthier -again abbot at a time until it's what you like. Good luck anon! Oh and thank your parents for showing that they care and you don't want to disappoint them but that their support is much appreciated.

Thank you really appreciate it.
Course is a short 8 hour course, with on the job training. It's OK this will be good for me. I will be sure to thank my parents.
Again thank you.

Just the one 8 hour course? Or multiple 8 hour courses?
Once you're done though it'll be good of you get a security guard job, especially a night guard cause that will kill a lot of times.

Look and examine why tournament parents are forcing this upon you, now think about why you should make the change, think about what you did and why you did it that would cause your parents to react, your probably young so you have lots of time to change and be someone who you want to be/survive on your own. Your parents or anyone for that matter will support you if you don't at least have some drive to contribute to your own help.
