So a while back I got unlucky and had a Bullshit experience with a cop. He gave me a ticket for 85 dollars and my court date is today. I'm gonna write this off on my good driving record but this is my first time going into the court for something. Few questions.

How you will be pleading? Age?
Considering it's a ticket that low, i'd assume a button up with khakis is safe maybe even a polo

But i have been to small court before. Jeans arent allowed. Any shoes are fine except open toe shoes.

Why do you have to go for court for just a small ticket? Are you just going to pay or do you have to stand in front of a judge?
If you have to stand in front of a judge, the nicer you dress the more favorable the judge will be.

My only experience is that you have to go to court hearing if it's first time and the jurisdiction doesn't have online option

Idk how to plead to put it off for my good driving record. And I'm 22, the ticket is 85 which is default price around here.
