Hey guys. Valentines day is coming up, but for me it's also the 2nd anniversary. I need some ideas - preferably inexpensive because we are trying to save. I'm looking mostly for stuff that you've actually done and that was received well.
Just for your own reference, I'm 26 and she's 30. Thanks for your help!
>pictured: gift from last year. She said she wanted to learn to play violin some day
Good thing you left this til the last minute!
>buy someone a violin because they said they wanted to play 'some day'
You buy them some lessons not a whole fucking instrument.

Why would you buy something for "some day"? Some day means never.
I don't think people can advise you anything since we hardly know your gf preference etc.
I'm not talking about gifts. I just want ideas for things to do for her or with her that are romantic and not played out. You know, like candles and flowers etc but different.

Go down on her. Or do some weird stuff she's into.

This. I second this

Huh, actually great suggestion. I should have thought of this already, now I feel really stupid. Thanks though!

>buying them a cheap-ass violin
Nothing says "I love you" more than some piece of shit cardboard box that can't even hold the strings in tune long enough to play a chord

Not that it makes a lick of difference since she never put it to any use, but I spent plenty for a starter violin and it does stay in tune. I got it from a violin store.
Now go be a cunt somewhere else
