A film requires a lot of focus/attention, and it's hard to talk over it (and not nice to the other visitors). Museum/zoo seems like a better idea. If you enjoy each other's presence, you should be able to have a good time in a simple cafe or something like that. Maybe also do something sports, like bowling, or golf or whatever.
