Iv started to notice my senses have become quite load recently after I've started playing a racing game I found on steam(some wipeout clone),My attention is starting to home in on sounds, everything is abit noticeable and I can recall alot better these past few days which I found odd since nothing has changed in my habits except is one factor.
For those on ADHD meds, do you have similar experiences?
> my senses have become quite load recently
Literally what did you mean by this, re-write this sentence and expand on it please.

I wouldnt say "louder" but more noticeable, like more files are sticking to my web that is my attention than before.
I have about 1000hrs in csgo solo que. I shut down stupid emotional outbursts very well now, and I also learned to foster cooperation where there isn't any. It's been a benefit in my life.
They found that gamers who play very difficult games (like masochistically hard) usually expect to exceed at real life scenarios, because they're easy by comparison.
Also they say ppl with ADHD find salvation in focused activities they're interested in, like your racing game. You might be feeling more alert because you're "less depressed" so to speak.

I was recently diagnosed with ADHD and pretty much agree with this anon. I was constantly overwhelmed by everything which led to depression and isolation. Hopped on some meds and now I can actually experience life without feeling like the world is screaming at all my senses and my mind isn't processing a fuck ton of shit at once.
Overwatch is where I spend most of my time. I like it cause it doesn't just feed the straight forward FPS mind but the MOBA mind as well. I've gotten pretty good but it's fuckin hard as hell to climb. Meds make me get more frustrated as well but i've learned to control it better

In my ADHD experience, video games are alot of fun, and allow me to escape the constant feeling of mental struggle against my inability to think properly, also id say the "game sense" you acquire does have practical application in every day life.
But it doesn't reduce your level of disability, i often notice situations in which my game performance is negatively effected by my ADHD.
