Okay so recently I got really sick. Doctors at first thought it was a glandular fever, then a staph infection but it turned out being some form of herpes. I basically had a small mark on my nose turn into multiple green sores.
Thing is, doctor rang me today and told me that the swabs came back as type 2 herpes (genital herpes) but my dick was fine the whole time however I am sexual active. Is it possible to have genital herpes in a place that isnt your genitals and for your dick to be uninfected? Anyone with experience or med people would be great.

Yes, it is very possible. Herpes can spread to multiple areas, even on places on your face. It's spread skin to skin, and can make it past condoms, AND it can be spread when the infected person isn't even having an outbreak.
I have genital herpes, but it's just around the base of my penis.
