I'm in a bit of a situation. Without going into very much information I no longer have access to a car, and I live far enough from work where I can't not use one.
I found one nearby that I can afford, is fairly new, and suits my needs. Thing is, I can't get a loan online, so I can't go there with any confidence.
I just need someone to assuage my concerns here. Number one being the process. In my head, I find an employee, approach, then my head's entirely blank out of my lack of knowledge on the subject. Second is financial, will they just allow any schlub who shows up to sign a contract for X% of the price plus interest each month?
Random picture from my folder because I don't care to find one that fits.

If you can not get a loan online you will not be able to get the same loan in the dealership. What you can do is find a shady dealership with overpriced cars that does its own financing.
What I suggest you do is buy either a car you can pay for with cash, or a brand new one. A new car will have a warranty. A chevy spark will cost 15 grand. 2 grand down and $299 month for 4 years. If you have a steady job then you will get financing.
first of all you only buy cars cash, also a car should not cost more than 10% of your annual income
also get a Honda or a Toyota

This. Fuck getting a car loan, save up a few thousand bucks and buy a decent old car.
Total cost of ownership can be less for a new one. It will not break that easily. It will use less gas. Insurance will be cheaper.
Say you buy a new car. You can easily run it for 100 thousand miles without any issues. How many years is that? 8-12 years. Lets go with the worst case scenario here, say it is 8 years. An 8 year old car with 100k will have lost 60-70% of its value. Worst case scenario it is worth $4500
you have spent $10500 in eight years. That is $1321 and fifty cents a year. What decent car can you get a that price, other than a new one?

>Only 100 thousand miles in 8 years
Fucking liars I swear.

Fuck off, people who work will do a shitload more miles than 100,000 in 8 years. I use my car for both work and weekends and I did 21,000 miles last year.

Some people live closer to work than others. You could save by moving.

If you can afford it, you wouldn't need a loan.
Don't be a dip shit anon.
