I don't know if this is the place I should go for this, but if all else fails, why not go to 4chan?
I'm currently in a battle for my some sort of justice. A few days ago, an old (what I thought was) "friend" decided to post a video of me doing sexual acts over a video chat on a public forum and take over one of my accounts on social media. I've now lost all way of possibly getting it back, but I'm more concerned about the fact that he didn't just post such a thing without consent, but he had recorded it to start with without my consent or knowledge to begin with.
I want to take legal action, but here's where it gets complicated. He lives in the UK, and I live in the US. Though both have laws against revenge porn, I'm not sure exactly where in the UK he is. All I have is a first name (he lied to me about his last name, I guess), a photo, many accounts of his on social media, and a possible town he could currently be living in.
I'm not sure what to do or how to figure out where he is so I can take the next steps in taking care of this matter. I'd like to go to the authorities, but with what I have, I can't do anything without a place and a name.
Any ideas?

I'd say to ask /b/, because there'd likely be someone there capable of helping you dox him, but at the same time /b/ also has the "not your personal army" rule, would definitely ask for your nudes in advance of them doing anything for you, might decide to dox you after doxxing the guy you're after, and wouldn't necessarily come through on their end even if you did for some reason decide to give them what they wanted. I have an idea. It'd be an extension of the /b/ idea in >>18036377
You could go on /b/, pretend to be the guy you're after, post a picture of him that easily leads back to his social media accounts, and then /b/ will dox him thinking that you are him. You'd have to be convincing though so they didn't figure it out, and you'd have to be obnoxious enough to make them want to dox you.
