Very good. You'll never be out of work, can travel anywhere and find a job, and you get paid very well. Solid middle-class (or higher) lifestyle for life.

My dad is an electrician.
He started with nothing and still managed to get 2 houses, a steady flow of business and managed to send both his sons to university. And he's the only one in the family who works. So I guess it's a damn good job.
Commercial electrician on break here, it's pretty good, decent pay, always have work, people think you are a wizard wrangling electricity with your bare hands. I'm waiting till I get trusted with the big service mains so I can blow myself up!

Not in italy, most jobs don't reach the 1500€/month mark, an electrician would be somewhere around 1300/1400

Not true, I'm >>18035549 and my dad makes around 1800-2300 a month.

In US?
Apprentice - $40k - 50K
Journeyman - $ 60K - 70K depending on stuff. like what kind of asshole your master is
Master - $70K -90K. + if you know what you're doing.
job is more detail oriented than most other construction trades, but you can usually get by on this without overworking yourself.
also if you start a subcon as an electrician you'll be rolling in it.
