How do I get my American friend to celebrate Easter with me? It's mind boggling that someone from a Christian nation doesn't celebrate one of the most important holidays of Christianity.

I think your friend is just weird. Everyone I know here celebrates Easter. I got a basket every year and we always did family Easter egg hunts. It's the day everyone wore the prettiest dresses to church.
